Original Oil Painting size 41x30cm was finished on the 1th of May 2018.

This painting named "Promise of the Love" and the Original was presented as a wedding gift to my godson, who is living in north of Russia where most of the year is cold and polar night. I wanted to share with newlyweds a beautiful piece of summery Australia.

The painting depicts my favorite place on Tambourine Mountain (Queensland, Australia), where there is a beautiful view of the valley below and the mountains in the distance. There live many rainbow lorikeets, which pair off only once in a lifetime. The painting depicts the morning / early afternoon, there is a lot of light and perspective - all this is a symbol of the fact that the life of the newlyweds is just beginning and in front of them are endless horizons. A wonderful pair of Lorikeets - as a symbol of the newlyweds and their fidelity to each other.

The Rainbow in the sunny sky represents a famous symbol of Divine love, the Angels themselves confirm that they are with you. I wish that this piece of sunny Australia warms you and color your life in a bright and joyful way.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Question ---

Where is the best place to hang oil paintings?

Oil paintings do not like direct sunlight. An ideal place for them is a room with ambient lighting. Incandescent bulbs also adversely affect the quality of the painting. Varnish of course protects the paint, but not to that extent. Under the direct sun, it could begin to fade.
Never hang a picture near a stove/oven - it will be very difficult to clean a picture from soot. Air temperature changes may “kill" the painting. Please, do not hang the painting close to the heating appliance. Due to constant exposure to high temperatures, paint may start to crack.

This happens with humidity changes in the rooms. Do not be afraid of this. Place painting on a flat, clean surface with the image down, and wipe the back of canvas with a wet cloth. You do not need “to fill the painting with water”, make sure that the water does not flow from the rag in streams and that no puddles form on the canvas. Just slightly moisten with water - the canvas will immediately stretch evenly. It is necessary to leave the painting in this position until it is completely dry. If this procedure was not enough, then you need to contact a specialist in a framing workshop.
